The album _Irreversible...2012_ by La Arrolladora Banda El Limón De René Camacho received much critical attention and praise for its contribution to the banda genre, a form of regional Mexican music featuring large ensembles of wind instruments and drums that first developed in southern and central Mexico in the mid-nineteenth century. ______ few were surprised when the album won the Best Banda Album award at the 2012 Latin Grammys.
