A public library is installing window film to create a more comfortable indoor atmosphere. This is because in the afternoon, sunlight comes through the windows and makes it challenging to read or use the computers. The librarian wants to block some of the sunlight but still let in enough to keep the room bright. To help meet these goals, a window-film technician recommends selecting a film that reduces glare as much as possible while still allowing more than 15% of visible light to pass through the windows. The table shows the performance data for several different films.
