The Yupno people of the remote Finisterre Range of Papua New Guinea do not measure age and have no artificial means (e.g., clocks) of tracking time, but this does not imply that the Yupno are _____ time. As Rafael Núñez and colleagues have recently shown, the Yupno language contains many temporal expressions, such as usa-don sonda, which translates to "next week."
