In recent years, the English writer Mary Ann Browne (1812-1845), whose poetry was widely read during her lifetime, has been rediscovered by contemporary audiences-a resurgence of interest that is largely due to literary scholars such as Adriana Craciun, whose work ____ the richness of Browne's poems and the poet's historical importance to the Romantic literary movement encourages a broader rethinking of British Romanticism itself.
