Text
The following text is from William Blake's 1794 poem "Introduction to the Songs of Experience." The speaker addresses Earth as if it has been asleep.
'O Earth, O Earth, return!
Arise from out the dewy grass!
Night is worn,
And the morn
Rises from the slumbrous mass.
'O Earth, O Earth, return!
Arise from out the dewy grass!
Night is worn,
And the morn
Rises from the slumbrous mass.
