A 2024 study cataloged all the trees in Amsterdam to evaluate the biodiversity of the city’s urban forest. The researchers, finding that administrative unit GK13 had a 0.62 ratio of native to non-native trees, ______ efforts to improve the biodiversity of the trees in that unit and other areas with a similarly moderate ratio.
