In 2020, internationally renowned Slovak photographer Mária Švarbová exhibited her work at the Contessa Gallery and the Art Angle Gallery in the United States and ________ utilizing vivid pastel colors, overexposed tones, and mirrorlike symmetry, Švarbová's photographs evoke a Socialist-era aesthetic that she describes as "minimalistic but also futuristic."
