Leptoptilos dubius, also known as the greater ______ can be found in places like the Central Tanintharyi Coast in Myanmar and Chitwan National Park in Nepal, but more than 80 percent of this endangered stork species is found in Assam, India. There, wildlife biologist Dr. Purnima Devi Barman is on the front lines of a conservation effort that aims to bring adjutants back from near extinction.
