As the publisher of the Virginia Gazette, Clementina Rind helped spread ideas that would become important in the American Revolution. In August 1774, she published Thomas Jefferson’s A Summary View of the Rights of British America, a pamphlet ________ many of the principles that later appeared in the Declaration of Independence.
