On June 20, 1932, aviator Amelia Earhart received a ticker-tape parade in New York City in recognition of her transatlantic flight. Of the 206 ticker-tape parades held between 1886 and 2022, a number were for achievements in aviation. Earhart's parade was just one of 16 honoring pilots.
