Artist and writer Kameelah Janan Rasheed wanted to demonstrate the value of textual revision and to encourage audiences to embrace it as a sign of learning. ______ she was transparent about the revision process for her 2019 book No New Theories, adding annotations to the original text to indicate where her ideas had shifted or deepened.
