As computer engineer Nina Miolane can explain, unsupervised machine learning (UML) and multitask learning (MTL) take divergent approaches in the development of AI technologies. UML pertains to the training of computer algorithms to organize unlabeled data sets, and MTL to the training of computer models to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
